Dark Roasted Blend has yet another nice meditation on inspiring and haunting castles.

This is an amazing, amazing essay on the idea of living without God. And, I suppose, what really happens to a society with weakening religious beliefs. A fresh perspective, amidst so much gnashing of teeth lately.

I love this. Bluegrass buskers pickin and grinnin, and some beat boys pop and lock it. What a wonderful blend of cultures.

I like this guy.

Scientists recently tracked a bar-tailed godwit that flew 7,145 miles from Alaska to New Zealand, the longest distance ever measured. I guess anything named a ‘bar-tailed godwit’ is gonna be awesome.

MP’s dad Riely came into town this weekend to see Connor for the first time. Riely’s been on the road playing gigs, keeping the tune strong, and he planned a ’southern leg’ of the tour so he could check out the amazingness that is three-week-old Connor. And they hit it off big time.
