Folks, I’m proud and excited to announce that Connor Samuel Crook was born September 19, 2008, at 8:08 in the morning. We are tired but elated. The birth went wonderfully well and Mary Pat is recovering quickly. The beaner will henceforth be named Connor.

Well, we’re two days late. The little fella is understandably reluctant to embrace his non-aquatic future, so we’re twiddling our thumbs and eating lots of spicy food. We’ll letcha know as soon as the contractions get regular.

Meanwhile, Andraya rocks. Officially. I hope this inspires the beaner’s first word. (Well, frivolity, not taskmaster.)
